Give to the Max Helps Communities in Under 24 Hours

posted by Roz Lemieux on November 9, 2011

Give to the Max has a website that both encourages and motivates visitors to give over one day by donating to nonprofits in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. communities.

The website has a ticker counting down the amount of time until midnight of November 10, when Give to the Max Day is over. To help out before it is too late, users can visit various links on the homepage to find local nonprofits that benefit from donations.

The homepage also features important links that show supporters how they are making a difference: there is a list of nonprofits with the most donors as well as a Top County Showdown and the active results of an Individual Fundraiser Challenge that awards $10,000 for the organization with the most donors, $5,000 for second, and $1,000 for third.

From an easily accessible website providing goals and clear deadlines for donations, the Give to the Max website provides a chance for nonprofits to succeed not only through donations but through exposure and building new relationships.

Thanks to this website, people are encouraged to help nonprofits that aim to improve communities. Plus with equal importance, people are motivated to give to the max.
