Momsrising worked with Fission to build a micro-site that tells our Members of Congress that it takes more than a fancy Halloween costume for children to thrive via an appealing and creative web app.

Our new interactive Halloween card station takes less than a minute (we timed it!) and sends a message to Congress that they cannot scare Americans and cut early education. The feature allows you to choose a costume of your choice and personalize a message to send to your members of Congress.

The site highlights the importance of early education to legislators: by making early childhood education a priority, you provide taxpayers with returns of 7-10% per year on remedial education, health, expenditures for the criminal justice system, and tax revenues from increased earnings. This is a much higher return rate than most savings accounts these days!
